This week, Attorney General Bill Barr finally released a "lightly" redacted version of the Mueller report to the public and to Congress—but not before sharing it with President @realDonaldTrump's lawyers, and repeatedly misrepresenting its contents.
Far from providing Trump with a complete and total exoneration—as both he and Barr claimed it did—the report painted a shocking portrait of a lawless president who went to extraordinary ends to prevent the truth from coming out.
And he would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for those meddling subordinates who refused to do his bidding and contemporaneously documented his many efforts to obstruct justice.
Fortunately for Trump, congressional Republicans no longer view obstruction of justice as being problematic; as far as they're concerned, lying about a blowjob is much worse than lying about at least 140 clandestine contacts with Russians.
And, in another lucky development for the Trump crime family, it turns out that Don Jr. is too stupid to collude; if he only had a brain, he'd be fucked.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw fought fire with fire.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) accused a New York firefighter who survived the 9/11 attacks of "conspiring" against him with a Democratic congressman.
Crenshaw made the remark while pushing back on claims made by retired firefighter Rob Serra, who said Crenshaw brushed him off when Serra approached him in the halls of Congress to ask why he won’t support the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund.
Serra — a constituent of Rep. Max Rose‘s (D-NY) district in Staten Island — spoke out against Crenshaw after the Texas congressman attacked Rep. Ilhan Omar for her comments about 9/11.
"He's conspiring with Max Rose," Crenshaw said in a new interview with the New York Daily News. "There's a more malicious underlying motive here I think."

Sen. Ted Cruz got lit into for making a crass "joke."
As the world continued to mourn the devastation of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris after it was heavily damaged by a fire this week, one person on Wednesday took a stab at lightening the mood: Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.).
"Wonderful!" Cruz tweeted, sharing news that Disney had pledged $5 million to help restore the Parisian landmark. “Will we see Disney princesses in the new stained glass?"
With that, the Texas Republican swiftly fell victim to the dreaded Twitter ratio, his tweet getting nearly 10 times as many comments as retweets. Many condemned his joke as "totally inappropriate" and "insensitive" and demanded he delete his account. A spokesman for Cruz did not respond to a request for comment early Thursday.
The stupid… it burns!
